I have a busy day today. First; we are going to the Priority Health Classic bike race downtown. Then we’ll rush home so I can watch my undergraduate school (The University of Georgia) stomp all over my graduate school (Central Michigan University) in football. What a weird, mixed emotion.
I know from your blogs and comments on Big Binder that many of us are concerned about High Fructose Corn Syrup and it’s pervasiveness. This Tuesday at 9:30, WGVU is showing “King Corn“. If you haven’t seen this movie; it is fascinating. It outlines just how corn went from being food to a processed food ingredient and animal feed. Michael Pollan (author of In Defense of Food) makes a brief appearance too.
Off to the races! Go Dawgs! Fire Up Chips!
