This weekend the American Heart Association in a joint venture with Nickelodeon (who I love for one reason and one reason only… Blues Clues. That is the best kids show ever.) is sponsoring the Worldwide Day of Play this Saturday, September 29.
Local events this year will be held at various YMCA branches from 1-3pm and all are free and open to the public:

Kaboom has cool tool for finding playgrounds across the us and a place for families to take a pledge that they will get outside this weekend for the day of play.
