I believe I already mentioned the importance that Cheeze Kurls have played in my life. For those of you that are new readers, I will bring you up to speed. My husband (well, at that point I guess he was my boyfriend) proposed to me while we were on vacation in Hawaii. I sat on the balcony of our hotel eating the snacks I had brought along for the trip (I am never very far from a snack). Apparently some men find that irresistable, as it was at that moment that the soon-to-be Mr. Binder knelt down and said something about me being the right choice. The Hawaiian sun (or maybe the fruity resort-ish drinks) had set in quite nicely and it took me a moment to realize what was happening. I quickly licked the Cheeze off of my fingers. You can see why he picked me; I am a class act all the way.
What I didn’t know then, and you might now know now, is that Cheeze Kurls are made here in Grand Rapids! We are truly a blessed people. Next time you are making that important snack decision, choose the Kurl. Who knows what it could lead to.
Can’t wait until the next time you can grab a bag? Tell me what you love about this snack in a comment below. Five lucky winners will receive a Cheeze Kurls T-Shirt, and five others will win Munchster Dolls. A lot of companies have donated a lot of of great prizes for this Eat Local promotion, but these prizes win the Coolest Stuff award, hands down.
Good luck!

I would have to say in all my years living in W. Michigan I have never had a Cheeze Kurl. I might have to pick some up the next time I’m at the store just so I can taste these little nibblets of cheezie goodness!

Cheeze Kurls rock! My kids LOVE getting orange and licking off the powder. Mom loves trying to keep it off of everything in sight.

At our cottage this summer, we had a Cheeze Kurls v Cheetos taste off to share this treat with our out-of-state friends. (Our family had already converted to the local brand – yum!). Thumbs up for the CKs but both bags disappeared rapidly.

I grew up on those tasty curls of goodness. My daughter was recently introduced to them at grandma’s house (I had forgotten all about them). Now whenever we go to grandma’s she asks for kurls.
